James Henry
Poematia
If you don't know what's a true friend,
Gentle reader, I will tell you,
Though I own, I never saw one :
Well! a true friend's — but you mustn't let
Even your dearest or nearest
Know I ever said or thought it —
Any one who such a fool is
As to give his quid before he's
Quite sure that he'll get a quo for it.
